Monthly Statistics of the Patient Rights Observatory – August 2023

The CyFPA Observatory received a total of 18 complaints in October. The reduced number of complaints observed is due to the fact that our offices were closed for 2 weeks for summer holidays.

The CyFPA Observatory received complaints in August regarding the difficulty in scheduling appointments within a short period with specialized doctors within the GHS system. There were also complaints about medications and the limited number of visits for physiotherapy within GHS, as well as grievances regarding State provisions for individuals with dementia in need of continuous care. Finally, some complaints concerned poor service from hospitals within or outside the GHS.
